So this cartoon was aired in Israel circa 1993-1994, dubbed into Hebrew, and while everyone knew who Michael Jordan was, I can guarantee you that every single Israeli in their 20s-30s who knows that Wayne Gretzky exists (and is the only hockey player whose name they know), knows it solely because of the existence of this cartoon - a state I was in as well until I got into hockey fandom.

So much nostalgia watching this thing. And yeah, they definitely had magic superpowers. It was pretty awesome.
